A Moment for Me – Calligraphy with a Marker

Put the phone down, get a marker.

Swap keyboards for paper and screens for ink for a few hours. Treat yourself to a creative evening where you'll slow down, learn the basics of modern calligraphy and create something beautiful and useful with your own hands.

This workshop is for complete beginners. No prior knowledge is required.

When can we meet?

• Saturday, September 12, 2026
• Hour: from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
• Parking: free in and around the building (only a parking permit in the blue zone is required)

Frequently asked questions

• Do I need to be able to write well? No. The workshop is intended for beginners, including those who don't have nice handwriting.
• What if I write with my left hand? Even left-handed people can learn calligraphy. In some styles of handwriting, they even have an advantage.
• Do I need my own material? No. All materials are provided at the workshop.
• Can I come alone? Of course. Many participants come alone.
• What do I take home? A personalised cup or cotton bag, your own tutorials and the basic knowledge to keep creating.
• Are places limited? Yes. Due to the quality of the work, the number of places is limited to 10.
